I have a home office and I’m on the computer all day. I’m using my husband office chair but it is too big for that my lower back is killing me. I don’t reach the back of the chair and have to crouch or sit up with no support on my poor back. Okay any suggestions.?

Question about child support offices and legal counsel?

Can you speak to them, BEFORE the child is born, and see if in the long run it would be best to list (or not) the child’s father, go for support, and be able to have JUST supervised visits?
Or, if you talk to them about that, will they make sure you list the father (even if you decide to not list him)?
The only problem is “lawyers are like doctors, they charge to just talk.” I am not about to spend a fortune to be told that what I feel is right in this situation in what I need to do…..
Well, with him being 29 and acting younger than me (at 20) I REALLY don’t see him wanting to be involved.

The “professional” office where I work failed to support me during a most difficult time?

I live in a rural town 300 miles from the city where I grew up. At the beginning of this year I spent a couple of weeks in my home town taking care of my mom while she died from cancer at the age of 60, 3 weeks after being diagnosed.
I was in constant contact with my supervisor during this time, and returned to work promptly after my mom’s death.
The office where I work is small; 11 professional-environmental employees. Upon returning from this life-altering, emotional leave - I received no acknowledgement of what I had just been through from ANYONE, no emotional support, and no card/flowers were sent to the ceremony.
At first I was sad, then mad, and now just fed up with my work situation altogether. What a slap in the face. It has destroyed my passion to work for this company.
I make good money, and love what I do.
Where do I go from here?

We have a new mac needed to download high resolution images and need a fast internet connection. Our internet is too slow in the office because is shared with the other company brands in the building. Our IT support won’t have anything to do with this because we are not allowed to have a mac in the first place but management approved because is needed to do the job, so it would be like an individual home line.
